Kraul makes toys that show how things work, most of them built by you first: waterwheels, cable cars, windmills and spinning tops.

The company is in Icking, in Bavaria, and has been in the same family for three generations. Walter Kraul was a maths teacher and designed the first waterwheels for his own children. His son Christoph, a physicist and meteorologist, designs the experiment kits. Around ten people work there.
