Funke's Foundry sells heirloom toys: wooden animals, jointed bears, construction sets, puzzles and plush, mostly from European makers. Order online and we'll deliver the same day anywhere between Langley and Chilliwack, gift-wrapped if you like. We also ship across Canada and to the United States.

We travel too. We set up at markets and fairs across the Fraser Valley, in our trailer store or at a market stall, and what's on the shelves changes from stop to stop. The website has the whole collection.

Who makes it

Many of our makers are family companies, and some have made toys for over a hundred years: Steiff since 1880 and Teddy-Hermann since 1912.

What we carry, and why

We choose toys that are made to last, can be repaired and are worth passing on.

Ask us anything

Come in, pick things up and ask questions: where a piece was made, who made it, what's inside it. We'll answer, or point you to our articles on the makers in The Living Museum.

Repairs

If something you bought from us breaks, email us. We'll repair it for free or at cost, or show you how to mend it yourself. The Heirloom Promise page has the details.

Finding us

The shop moves, so the Location page lists the next stops, and new ones are posted on Facebook as they're booked.
