The maker
Uni-Toys
Hennef, Germany
Uni-Toys is the plush brand of UNIRING, a family firm in Hennef, near Bonn, founded in 1985. The brand name was registered in 1991.
What sets the range apart is how specific it is. Not a dog but a Bernese mountain dog, a border collie,… a dachshund. Not a bird but a wren, an owl, an ostrich. The animals are modelled closely enough that people tend to find the one they actually know.
