Teddy Hermann is one of the oldest teddy bear makers in Germany, founded by Bernhard Hermann in 1912 in Sonneberg, then the heart of the world’s toy industry. He named the company after his initials, “BE HA.” After the Second World War the family moved… the business to Hirschaid, near Bamberg, where it still stands today, now in the hands of the fourth generation. Every collector bear carries the red “Hermann Teddy Original” seal at the neck.
