VARIS Toys
Rencēni, Latvia
Three members of a Latvian family started a company in 1988 and called it Saime, which means family. For about ten years they made general wooden goods.
Around 2000 they designed a wooden construction set with interlocking pieces and called it VARIS; the set later… gave the company its name.
